![]() ![]() The towns represent 9 different factions, and each type of town has different creatures, art, and strengths/weaknesses. You will also have a town (again, generally you start with just one, but sometimes more) which allows you to recruit creatures for your army and improve your economy. As your hero gain experience, they level up and get better skills and stats, which in turn make your armies stronger. In this game, heroes themselves do not literally fight, but you hero serves as the general of your army and can support them by casting spells or having special skills. (On some maps you might start with more than one). The very basic concept is that you will always start with (usually) one Hero, who is your main character, although you can recruit others. ![]() ![]() Of course, the graphics are 2D, but even for an older game I still think the artwork looks amazing. Heroes 3 is a fantastic game, probably the game I have played more than any other in my life. ![]()
